Chef's Note
"After a brutal service, my late-night meals needed a quick lift. I didn't want the artificial stuff. I wanted real crunch and honest heat. This recipe started just for my kitchen crew, but it was too good to keep secret. It's the everyday staple that brings everything together." – Chef K
About
Byadagi for colour, Guntur Teja for the kick, a little Bhut Jolokia for the second wave. Garlic and shallots are slow-dried until they shatter. Crunch first, then heat. A truly bold fusion of chef technique and classic Indian chillies.
Ingredients
We Use Cold-Pressed Canola Oil, Teja Chilli, Byadagi Chilli, Bhut Jolokia Chilli, Sichuan peppercorns, Garlic, Shallots, and salt.
Things we skip
No shortcuts. No synthetic colour. No flavour tricks. Just chillies, oil, garlic, shallots everything natural — and time.
Frequently asked questions
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in 3–6 business days, depending on your location.
What is your return policy?
Because these are food products, we can't accept returns once an order has shipped. If anything arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, email us within 48 hours with a photo and we'll sort out a replacement.
What's the difference between your four jars, beyond the heat level?
Crispy Chilli Oil is the original — garlic, shallots, three chillies. 2X is the same base with double the Bhut Jolokia. Herb brings in curry leaf, hing, and urad dal for a South Indian twist. Cranberry adds tart fruit to soften the heat into something sweet-spicy instead.
Does it need to be refrigerated, and what's the shelf life?
Unopened, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — no refrigeration needed. Once opened, it's best to refrigerate and use within 4–6 weeks for best flavour and crunch.
Do you use MSG or any synthetic flavour enhancers?
No added MSG - nothing synthetic goes into any Twine jar. What you're tasting is chilli, garlic, shallots, herbs, cranberry and oil, not a flavour additive.
Where are your products made?
Every jar is made in our facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Does it contain any common allergens?
Only the Herb jar contains asafoetida (hing), which may carry trace amounts of wheat depending on the supplier. The other three jars - Signature, 2X, and Cranberry - contain none of the major declared allergens.
Can I use it for cooking, or is it just a topping?
Both. Spoon it on at the end for crunch, or stir it into noodles, fried rice, or a marinade while they're still hot - it holds up to heat as well as it works raw.
